                  7 dangerous ingredients you                           should stop consuming.

Majority of packed foods and drinks we buy in shops and supermarkets contain a lot of different chemicals which may have adverse effects on our health .As much as we love eating candy, canned foods and drinking sodas, we must check out for these 7 dangerous ingredients;

(a) Artificial colours.
       Commonly found in candy, soft drinks and most processed foods. Its potential side effects are allergies, sinus congestion, hyperactivity in children and worsens symptoms of ADHD and ADD.

(b) Preservatives.
       Found in almost every processed packed foods .Potential side effects are; tinnitus, nausea and vomiting. Polysorbates lead to infertility, and anaphylaxis. Nitrates/nitrites lead to allergic reactions and are carcinogenic. Potassium sorbate in preservatives leads to allergic reactions, nausea and DNA damage.

(c) Artificial sweeteners.
      Their potential side effects are; headaches, dizziness, memory loss, and convulsions. Others such as sucralase and neotame need more studies to confirm their safety.

(d) Artificial flavors.
      This is a blanket term referring to over 100 possible chemical additives whose potential side effects are; allergic and behavioural reactions.

(e) High-fructose corn syrup (glucose-               fructose)
      Its potential side effects are; obesity, insulin resistance, increased belly fat and heart disease.
(f) Trans fats.
       They are sometimes labelled as 'shortening', partially hydrogenated, monodiglycerides, or DATEM. Their potential side effects are; heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.

(g) Monosodium glutamate. (MSG)
      Its side effects are chest pain, heart palpitations, headaches and stimulates taste buds causing as to eat more.
